About the Maker

After more than a decade of working in notable kitchens throughout the US, Chef John Davidson and his wife, Michelle, opened their own successful restaurant: The Crushery. Located in Denver Colorado's historic South Pearl Street neighborhood, The hotspot delighted foodies with homemade bagels, paninis, salads and an even ever-theatrical liquid nitrogen ice cream. The Crushery was beloved by locals and tourists alike.

As The Crushery thrived, Chef John struggled to find food-friendly sauces to complement his popular menu. He found that typical hot sauces had overwhelming notes of vinegar or were so spicy that just a couple of drops burnt the palate. What John craved was a lineup of hot sauces that would make flavors sing. That’s when John and Michelle took to the kitchen and Cooper’s Small Batch-named after their son-was born.

These guys hail from Bozeman, Montana and here's a few words about who they are!

Once upon a time... we found that the Mexican food available in stores simply wasn‘t cutting it – every product was full of chemicals and preservatives that you need a science degree to pronounce…

our little group of friends decided we couldn’t let this go on and hence set out, in our space suits, to conquer the Food Universe one step at a time. we learned everything we could, created recipes, designed packaging, filled in more forms than you can imagine and got serious about getting our goodies out there... we now have a cute little trio of seasonings, some super hero sauces and a phenomenal avocado oil - all of which help your food pop with flavor and help you get creative in the kitchen :) yay!

Barbecue Sauce · 18 oz / 510 g

Me: Did you know Carolina gold bbq sauce is mostly mustard.

You: Why would I know that?

Me: Idk, but I love mustard and I love this bbq sauce.

About the Maker

As a father of four and a healthy eater, I tried to limit my kids' ketchup intake, explaining it was like putting candy on their burgers. Part of me cringed at family cookouts as BBQ sauce and Sriracha flowed freely. But I lost these battles - especially the argument over ketchup with a five year old. So when the opportunity arose to create a better ketchup, I jumped.

About the Maker

Here's a few words from Aurbrey, the founder of AubSauce!

The AubSauce story began out of a conversation I had with my friend, Donna. A foodie's foodie who enjoyed culinary delights, she was searching for a peach-infused barbecue sauce recipe to pair with a pork loin she planned to cook. Gradually, our conversation morphed into a challenge: Could I create a barbecue sauce of my own? Since I've always thrived on challenges, I was determined to come up with a recipe that was not only good, but a true palate pleasure.

Sharing what I created with a few close friends and family, I heard the same but encouraging response: "You should sell this!"

For nearly a year, I spent weekends perfecting my barbecue sauce, and in my free time, I held tastings during the week. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive: "This is good," "I love it," "this is so unique; I've never tasted anything like this before," and my favorite: "where can I buy it?"

The positive responses and encouragement led me to launch a Kickstarter campaign to raise the initial capital to bring AubSauce to market. I raised $10,000 — twice my $5,000 goal — and AubSauce was born.

It was in my native Birmingham, Ala. — my grandmother’s kitchen, specifically — that I learned how important good food was to forming lifelong close bonds with family and friends.

I am a fan of classic movies, musical theater, Wonder Woman, and all things beautiful. I reside in Decatur, Ga., along with Whitney, my dressmaker’s mannequin.
